Participants receive brief surveys via the smartphone with questions about stress, microaggressions, discrimination/racism, physical activity, healthcare, food intake, daily activities, and breastfeeding practices. A smart scale is also provided by PMOMS for participants to weigh themselves. Most participants are enrolled in PMOMS for approximately 15 months, starting in their third trimester and ending around 12 months after delivery. A portion of study participants were recruited directly from the GDM2 Study. Recruitment for PMOMS is ongoing and will include participants outside of GDM2.
